Sam Rollins

Sam RollinsSam Rollins is a 36 year veteran of the Financial Services and Information Technology Industry. He has developed and managed all phases of technology development, operational procedures and management processes for major corporations and organizations throughout his career.

Sam is Senior Vice President for Business Operations at Veritec Financial Services, Inc. (VTFS, Inc). In this role Sam is responsible for developing and implementing payment card program solutions and services for US and International customers.

He was previously Senior Vice President of Global Information Security for Visa USA, Inc. Visa® is the world’s largest brand and payment network for Credit and Prepaid cards. In this position he was one of the developers and founding managers of Visa’s® Global Information Security Program. This program created the policies and procedures, and implemented the technologies that protect the Visa® brand and global payments network, and, sets the standards for the entire payment processing industry. These standards were the forerunner of today’s Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. Prior to joining Visa®, Sam was the Senior Manager of Networks at Nike, Corp. He led the team that developed Nike’s Global Financial and Product Design network, and their Information Security program.

In addition to his roles at Visa® USA and Nike, Corp, Sam’s distinguished career has included key management roles at Standard Insurance Co. and AT&T, Corp. He began his career at IBM Corp as a Field Engineering Representative.

Sam is an alumnus of Reed College.
